UNION MEMBERSHIP

CHAPTER II

ARTICLE 7. Union members are all academic workers administrative and service of UNAM workers who are not trusted who join the same and meet the requirements of this Statute.

There will be three types of membership:

a) Assets: description corresponding to workers provide services directly to the UNAM.

b) Commissioners are those workers whose services are rendered directly to the Union at its headquarters or any other facility association.

c) Retirees and Pensioners are those who, having been working UNAM, have volunteered to keep as a partner STUNAM active, according to special guidelines about established by this Statute.

ARTICLE 8. Union membership is voluntary and personal. Any member may withdraw from the Union at a time express in writing their willingness to do so, without affecting their status work.

ARTICLE 9. Union members may be those who meet the following requirements:
a) usually referred to in Article 7.

b) Protest observe and enforce this statute and the agreements emanating from the organs of the Union.

ARTICLE 10. Retain their quality of union members, with all its rights and obligations, those who, having been separated by the employer with whom the relationship of litigation, demanding reinstatement, until the boss is acquitted become final and the award.

Even those who have been temporarily removed from work and those have been separated from work due to union policies or ideological, retain their quality of belonging to the union, whenever he wishes, in which case the union fight until the last minute for his reinstatement.

Similarly, quality will continue their active membership of retirees and pensioners they express through their affiliation the Organization of Retirees and Pensioners of the UNAM (OJUPEUNAM) and are willing to comply with the rules established in the Statutes of both organizations.

To exercise your right to vote and be voted, the applicant must written status report to the Secretaries of Organization Academic Administrative or as the case and that of Acts, Agreements and Archive.

ARTICLE 11. The Guild membership is suspended by:

a) Play a position of trust, UNAM.

b) play an officer appointed by the Board Government of the UNAM or the Rector or play a position of authority in another institution of higher secondary education or higher, in the case of workers who are punished with suspension temporary.

c) violation of statute or agreement of the Union which penalizes temporary suspension.

d) staff senior positions in government institutions, directly appointed by the Executive.

ARTICLE 12. The membership of the Union resumed:

a) By giving up the post of trust.

b) When leave to perform the function conferred by the Board of Governors or the Rector.

c) To stop the effects of union sanction that has been applied in accordance with this Statute.

d) To stop playing a position of authority at another institution upper secondary education or higher.

e) The abolition of the office of public official referred to subsection d) of the preceding article.

ARTICLE 13. In all cases mentioned in Article above, to resume membership of the Union was require that the person has not acted during the period suspension, injuring the interests of the Union and its members, and also during the same period has continued fulfilling the obligation to pay dues on time ordinary and extraordinary.

If there is complaint by the union membership that the person committed any of the faults noted above, the resumption of quality affiliate is subject the final opinion is issued by the competent trade union body marked according to the procedures in this statute.

ARTICLE 14. The membership of the Union is lost:

a) written resignation submitted by the committee concerned Executive Staff Union.

b) By expulsion.

c) When not miss any working relationship with UNAM.

ARTICLE 15. Retirees may not occupy managerial positions, representation or control. Although may be organized in the instance that suits their interest to defend their sector duties as appropriate.
